The Electrical Design Engineer will design resilient electrical distribution systems for data centers, ensuring uptime for AI and HPC customers, and managing projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for FluidStack's high-density GPU data centers, collaborating across disciplines to produce complete construction document sets
- Deliver designs that meet our rigorous quality standards while staying aligned with project budgets and timelines
- Partner with commissioning teams to thoroughly test, validate, and document the installation and performance of electrical systems before handoff
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across FluidStack's growing footprint, balancing priorities across different regions and time zones
- Travel to project sites as needed to conduct field reviews, support onsite engineers, perform electrical system audits, and assist with startup activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of Professional Electrical Engineering experience ideally in a mission critical setting
- Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
- Hands on design experience
- Experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
- Knowledge of commercial or industrial power systems or mechanical systems
- Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production
