Podium Education partners with colleges and companies to enhance undergraduate degrees with practical skills and experiences. The Partner Marketing Manager will lead marketing strategies and initiatives to engage educational partners and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and execution of events and campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Partner Marketing strategy - Engage with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop event strategy, programming, and content that supports business and partner goals
- Drive web content, narrative, and asset development - Lead website content development and partner-facing asset creation, including sales collateral (e.g., pitch materials, offering documents, case studies, partner spotlights), event materials, and draft press releases, using tools like Canva, Figma, and Google Suite
- Manage social media platforms - Build Podium’s LinkedIn and broader social presence by creating and publishing targeted content that engages partners, students, employers, and key stakeholders, including but not limited to new partner announcements, event insights, longer form thought leadership posts
- Build and execute events strategy - Lead end-to-end planning and logistics for conferences, events, partner activations, virtual webinars and roundtables, and internal events; Manage third-party vendors, production partners, venues, and event support teams, overseeing timelines, scopes of work, contracts, and deliverables
- Support Advisory Board and partner engagement - Coordinate Advisory Board communications, in-person and virtual meetings, and stewardship throughout the year; lead occasional partner engagement efforts and physical collateral production (e.g., holiday gifts)
- Spearhead conference attendance and sponsorship strategy and execution - Engage with existing strategic partners (e.g., membership organizations, thought leaders, contractors) and seek out/evaluate prospective new sponsorship and conference participation opportunities aligned with Podium’s mission and partnership goals; own execution of sponsorship and conference elements including writing session proposals, orchestrating panels, lounges/branded spaces, and receptions, coordinating internal participation, run-of-show, speaker logistics, and special programming
- Maintain Partner Marketing function budget - Manage Partner Marketing function and event budgets with detailed tracking, ensuring resources are used thoughtfully while maintaining a high standard of production
- Organize Partner Marketing assets and institutional knowledge - Build and maintain shared file systems, planning tools, event templates, project trackers, and reports using tools such as Google Drive, Asana, and Google Sheets; serve as “source of truth” for brand message and materials
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in partner, event or social media marketing, communications, public relations, or a closely related role
- Excellent communication and writing skills, including strong judgement and ability to develop and tell a consistent brand story across multiple formats and audiences
- Strong project management skills; you can manage multiple projects, timelines, vendors, budgets, stakeholders, and last-minute changes without losing the thread
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute high-quality events from concept through post-event reporting
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort working with leadership, internal teams, partners, vendors, and other external stakeholders
- Comfort creating high quality marketing, sales, and external-facing materials
- A proactive, ownership-minded approach; you do not wait for every detail to be handed to you before moving work forward and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities
- Comfort balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution while managing numerous streams
- Ability to travel occasionally (~3-5 times a year for events, Advisory Board meeting, internal company and team summits)
- Experience in edtech, higher education, workforce development, or early talent contexts
- Experience supporting partner, employer, university, or student-facing events
- Familiarity with tools such as WebFlow, Duda, Asana, Google Suite, Zoom, Canva, Adobe Express, and Figma
- Experience growing or managing a company/organization's LinkedIn presence
- Experience building or redesigning and updating company or organization website and branding
- Experience with conference sponsorships, speaker programming, branded activations, or field marketing campaigns
