ProphetX is a prediction market focused on sports, aiming to power America's next great asset class. They are seeking a UI/UX Designer to lead end-to-end product design, collaborate with various teams, and drive design as a strategic function.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end product design across desktop and mobile, from early-stage concept through polished, production-ready delivery
- User research strategy and execution: personas, competitive analysis, user interviews, usability testing, and synthesis into actionable insight
- Design system ownership: building, evolving, and maintaining a coherent, scalable system across all product surfaces
- Cross-functional partnership: you are in the room when product decisions are made, not handed the outcome after the fact
- AI-augmented design workflow: you treat AI tooling as a natural force multiplier, not a novelty
- Raising the bar: you bring a point of view into every critique, push back when something is not right, and make the work around you better
Requirements:
- Portfolio required. Please include a link or attachment with your application
- 5+ years in product design, with a portfolio that demonstrates both systems thinking and exceptional craft
- Deep experience designing complex, data-rich, or transactional products: fintech, sportsbook, prediction markets, or similarly high-stakes environments strongly preferred
- Full double diamond fluency: as comfortable running a research sprint and defining the problem space as you are delivering a pixel-perfect prototype
- Figma mastery: components, variables, auto-layout, and prototyping at a level that moves fast without creating chaos
- Experience with prototyping and usability testing tools, and working familiarity with product analytics to inform and validate design decisions
- A track record of influencing product direction, not just executing it: you have opinions and you know how to make the case for them
- Comfort with ambiguity: you do not need a fully defined brief to do great work, and you can build structure where none exists
- Experience in prediction markets specifically
- Graphic design background that shows up in the polish and craft of your visual work
- Familiarity with CFTC-regulated or financial services product environment
