Investment Banking Associate, AI Residency (Part-time) | Aptura

Aptura is a company that partners with leading AI labs to integrate real-world finance expertise into AI development. They are seeking an Investment Banking Associate for a part-time AI Residency to improve AI's handling of corporate finance through developing prompts, comparing human and machine judgment, and constructing expert benchmarks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop realistic, deal-relevant prompts and iterate on AI outputs to test reasoning quality
• Systematically map where AI reasoning falls short of professional banker judgment
• Translate how bankers navigate ambiguity, structure transactions, and stress-test assumptions into problems that challenge frontier AI
• Build and validate real-world DCFs, LBOs, comps, and deal cases used to evaluate AI systems
