Senior Integration Engineer

Kforce Inc is partnering with a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer with deep expertise in healthcare EDI configuration and implementation. The role involves managing claims platform administration, troubleshooting, and collaborating with clients on system implementations and resolving production issues.

Responsibilities:

• 4-7 years of experience in IT operations or systems engineering
• 2+ years of supporting enterprise application platforms
• 2+ years of hands-on EDI support experience within a healthcare payer or TPA environment
• Proven experience working within AWS, including SFTP integrations, Lambda functions, S3, Transfer Family, and file structure management
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare EDI transaction sets, including 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 999, and 834
• Strong proficiency in developing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries
• Experience with scripting and automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Familiarity with secure file transfer protocols and data exchange processes
• Exposure to clearinghouses (e.g., Waystar) and staging workflows
• Broad understanding of infrastructure environments (Windows, Linux, and related systems)
• Experience managing file feeds and data integrations with internal teams and external partners
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate technical tasks in partnership with business stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Analytical mindset with solid troubleshooting and investigative capabilities
• Knowledge of security protocols for electronic data transmissions
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Experience collaborating with third-party vendors
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and handling of protected health information (PHI)
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and solving complex issues with limited direction
