Software Engineer (Code Review & Quality) | $80/hr Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Software Engineer to conduct thorough code reviews and ensure high code quality standards. The role involves debugging complex issues, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve development workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough code reviews and evaluate pull requests to ensure high code quality standards
• Identify, debug, and resolve complex issues across Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go codebases
• Develop, review, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• Implement and enforce security best practices and performance optimization techniques
• Collaborate with engineering teams via GitHub, providing clear and constructive feedback
• Document technical findings, review insights, and recommendations in a structured manner
• Contribute to AI model training initiatives by improving code quality and development workflows

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go development
• Expertise in code reviews, pull request evaluation, and maintaining code quality standards
• Proficiency with GitHub workflows and collaborative development practices
• Strong debugging and issue identification skills across multiple codebases
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, performance optimization, and secure coding practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced engineering environment
