Sr Software Engineer-Networking

Databricks is a leading data and AI company that empowers data teams to tackle significant challenges. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Networking Infrastructure team, where the engineer will design and automate networking solutions for large-scale compute clusters across major cloud providers, ensuring secure and scalable connectivity for data and AI workloads.

Responsibilities:

• Design and automate the networking foundations for large-scale compute clusters across all major cloud providers
• Lead the design and development of secure and scalable connectivity that powers all data / AI workloads
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and other engineering teams, to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and efficient networking systems

Requirements:

• 5+ years of production-level experience in one of: Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language
• 4+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch
• Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
• Extensive experience working on large-scale compute clusters, network connectivity, and automation
