Amazon Music is seeking an experienced Sr. Affiliate Marketing Manager to drive worldwide customer acquisition. This role involves defining, executing, and measuring affiliate marketing strategies to promote Amazon Music and optimize growth through partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the affiliate marketing strategy to acquire new Amazon Music subscribers and users through partnerships
- Identify, recruit, and onboard high-performing affiliate partners that align with the Amazon Music brand and customer base
- Negotiate and manage affiliate program terms, commission structures, and campaigns with partners
- Monitor affiliate program performance and optimize campaigns to maximize subscriber/user acquisition and revenue
- Create compelling affiliate marketing assets, promotional materials, and toolkits to enable partners to effectively promote Amazon Music
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Amazon Music marketing, content, and product teams to integrate affiliate campaigns
- Analyze affiliate program data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for growth
- Develop the strategy for channel growth in emerging markets
- Audit and update existing data pipelines in collaboration with the Business Intelligence and Tech teams to ensure the highest level of data quality
- Stay up-to-date on affiliate marketing best practices, tools, and industry developments
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- 6+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnership marketing, paid marketing or a related field
- Experience in advanced fraud detection mechanisms and tools
- Experience with modern BI tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Amazon Quick Sight, or similar
- 8+ years in Affiliate Marketing managing acquisition marketing campaigns with an international scope for a direct-to-consumer subscription service or in the media & entertainment industry
- Demonstrated high level leadership and communication (written and verbal) skills to drive recommendations. Ability to articulate tradeoffs, explain complex issues and communicate plans to senior executives
- Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, drive rationale, discover root causes and identify opportunities
