They are seeking a Project Engineer to serve as a bridge between the engineering team and customers, combining quality assurance, project coordination, and customer communication to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional testing of web and mobile applications
- Create and execute test plans and test cases
- Verify bug fixes and new feature releases
- Identify, document, and reproduce software issues
- Coordinate user acceptance testing activities
- Help improve quality assurance processes and release procedures
- Ensure deliverables meet customer expectations before release
- Serve as a primary liaison between customers and the engineering team
- Gather requirements, feedback, and enhancement requests from customers
- Translate business requirements into clear development tasks
- Communicate project updates, timelines, and priorities
- Follow up with customers regarding testing, feedback, and approvals
- Help manage project deliverables and deadlines
- Assist engineering teams with requirements clarification
- Create and maintain project documentation
- Organize tickets, priorities, and release notes
- Help coordinate deployments and release activities
- Track project status and identify potential risks or blockers
- Support internal process improvements and operational efficiency
- Ensure customer requests are properly documented and communicated
- Maintain visibility into project progress and outstanding items
- Help drive accountability across project stakeholders
- Support successful project delivery from kickoff through production release
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in software QA, project coordination, business analysis, implementation, customer success, or related technical roles
- Experience testing web or mobile applications
- Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to participate confidently in meetings conducted in English
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience working for a software development company
- Experience with Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar project management tools
- Experience writing test plans and test cases
- Experience supporting software implementation projects
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
- Basic understanding of software development processes
- Familiarity with web technologies and APIs
- Experience working with remote engineering teams
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor to improve productivity
