Dataminr is a mission-driven company focused on leveraging AI to provide organizations with critical event detection capabilities. The Salesforce Business Systems Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to improve system processes, support users, and manage integrations, while ensuring the effective use of Salesforce functionalities.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Customer Success and Technical Support stakeholders to respond to and proactively identify challenges that can be solved with system and/or process improvements
- Lead the prioritization, tracking, delivery and communication of system changes to impacted end users and stakeholders
- Educate and evangelize technical best practices to internal constituents to ensure solutions delivered are best of breed for Dataminr’s business model and culture
- Act as front-line support to assist users with general questions or technical challenges, troubleshoot any technical issues uncovered and assist end users in resolving their inquiries
- Manage the integration between Gainsight and Salesforce.com, keeping a keen eye on how changes in either system may impact the other
- For more strategic initiatives, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting user requirements, business flows and solution designs as well as implementing the solution within the appropriate technology
- Partner with Sales, Marketing & Partner Ops stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and translate needs into scalable Salesforce and GTM system solutions
- Configure and enhance Salesforce functionality (flows, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, reports, dashboards, etc.) and support rollout of new initiatives
- Collaborate with the Revenue Technology team to maintain strong standards around solution design, documentation, release management, and change communication
- Evaluate and implement new technologies that improve operational efficiency and user experience
- Serve as a trusted partner to end users, balancing day-to-day support with long-term platform improvements and driving CRM adoption across the org
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Salesforce.com and Gainsight experience, with proven hands-on experience in administration and configuration
- Strong strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to work independently
- Self-motivation and an ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a strong focus on delivering the best possible solution
- High level of accountability and the ability to execute on multiple and competing projects and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with an ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers
- 2–4 years in a Business Systems, Salesforce Admin, or RevOps role
- Strong Salesforce Sales Cloud knowledge; CPQ exposure a plus
- Hands-on experience with declarative tools: configuration, flows, validation rules, reporting, and dashboards
- Strong analytical and communication skills; able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities
- Proactive, curious, and ownership-oriented
