Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Information Architect to support a global intranet transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will design and organize intranet content, navigation, taxonomy, and metadata to improve user experience, content discoverability, and accessibility across the organization.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain intranet information architecture, including navigation, site maps, and content taxonomy.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand user needs.

Develop metadata standards, naming conventions, and content organization frameworks.

Create wireframes and navigation models to support intranet design and development.

Improve content findability, usability, and overall employee experience.

Work closely with content owners, UX designers, and developers.

Conduct usability testing and recommend improvements.

Support AI-driven initiatives for content tagging, recommendations, and search optimization.

Ensure compliance with governance, accessibility, and organizational standards.

Document information architecture decisions and best practices.

Required Skills

5+ years of Information Architecture experience.

Strong knowledge of information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, and content strategy.

Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.

Experience creating site maps, navigation structures, and wireframes.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Knowledge of usability testing and accessibility best practices.

Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
