
Position: Business Analyst (Advanced) – Demand Analyst
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite – Monday through Friday)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Demand Analyst) to serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and Information Technology teams. This role is responsible for intake, analysis, documentation, prioritization, and governance support of technology proposals from ideation through project approval.
The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and business case development experience. The Demand Analyst will collaborate with business units, technical teams, and leadership to identify strategic technology needs, evaluate solution feasibility, document requirements, and support governance processes within ServiceNow and related portfolio management tools.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• ServiceNow Demand Management or similar portfolio management platforms

• Gap analysis and process improvement initiatives
• Executive presentation development and reporting
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)

• Knowledge of translating business requirements into technical requirements
• Understanding of governance, portfolio management, and proposal lifecycle processes
• Familiarity with Power BI reporting and dashboards (preferred)

Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate intake meetings and collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document technology proposals.
• Categorize and prioritize proposals based on business value, strategic alignment, urgency, complexity, and impact.
• Analyze proposal trends, recurring requests, and feasibility against technical and organizational constraints.
• Develop business cases including ROI, TCO, cost-benefit analysis, risk assessments, and cost-savings estimates.
• Document business objectives, scope, assumptions, constraints, risks, and impacted systems.
• Research and model current-state and future-state business processes using Visio and related tools.
• Maintain proposal documentation and lifecycle progression within ServiceNow.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendation materials for leadership review.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Support cybersecurity assessment activities when required.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend innovative technology solutions.
• Assist with governance reviews and proposal approval processes.
• Maintain workload tracking, assignment management, and accurate time reporting.
