About this role
Diverse Lynx is a company focused on providing staffing and consulting services, and they are seeking a MES Business Analyst to support manufacturing operations. The role involves analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and acting as a liaison between various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of MES solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Understand manufacturing operations (production, quality, maintenance, inventory)
- Analyze AS IS and TO BE processes across shop floor and MES layers
- Lead workshops with plant users to capture functional and reporting requirements
- Define process flows, use cases, and business rules for MES solutions
- Gather and document MES requirements for:
- Production tracking
- OEE & downtime
- Quality & SPC
- Work orders & routing
- Traceability / genealogy
- Recipes / parameters (process industries)
- Translate requirements into FSD / FRD / user stories
- Support MES configuration and validation with technical teams
- Act as primary liaison between operations, IT, SI, and product vendors
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage
- Assist in FAT, SAT, and go live readiness
- Ensure alignment with ISA 95 / ISA 88 standards where applicable
- Requirement elicitation & documentation
- Process mapping (BPMN / flow diagrams)
- Functional design documents (FSD / BRD / User Stories)
- UAT coordination and business validation
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
