Accenture is a leading global professional services company, and they are seeking a skilled Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst to join their Healthcare IT team. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert for outpatient pharmacy workflows within the Epic EHR platform, providing application support, configuration, and optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for Epic Willow Ambulatory workflows, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Manage and prioritize daily application support activities, ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved within defined SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve application issues related to eRx, refills, prior authorizations, POS workflows, and device integrations
- Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate pharmacy needs into effective Epic solutions
- Configure, build, and optimize Epic Willow Ambulatory modules to support outpatient and specialty pharmacy operations
- Support system design, testing, go‑live readiness, and post‑implementation stabilization activities
- Maintain accurate system documentation, build specifications, workflows, and testing artifacts
- Support multi‑site implementations, workflow scaling, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Pharmacy, or a related field OR equivalent relevant work experience
- Active and current Epic Willow Ambulatory certification required; certification must be maintained throughout the engagement
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting Epic applications in a healthcare IT environment
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Epic Willow Ambulatory configuration, build, and support
- Experience supporting ambulatory pharmacy workflows, including medication ordering, dispensing, inventory, and POS processes
- Proven experience managing day‑to‑day EHR application support, including incident resolution and SLA adherence
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clinical stakeholders, including pharmacists, nurses, and physicians
- Additional Epic certifications such as Willow Inpatient, Home Infusion, Bugsy, or related Epic modules
- Experience working with Surescripts interfaces, error queues, and electronic prescribing workflows
- Familiarity with 340B billing, pharmacy benefits administration, and pharmacy revenue cycle processes
- Prior experience working with offshore or distributed support teams
- Background in healthcare IT consulting or large, complex health system environments
- Experience developing system documentation, testing artifacts, and end‑user training materials
