Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pega Developer with practical exposure to the Pega Customer Service (PCS) framework. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements while ensuring alignment with Pega platform capabilities. The candidate will play a key role in Agile delivery, solution design, testing support, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and Directly Captured Objectives (DCO) sessions.
Understand business processes, challenges, pain points, and strategic objectives.
Gather, analyze, and document:
o Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
o Functional Requirements Documents (FRD)
o Use Cases
o Process Flows and Business Scenarios
Perform gap analysis between current-state and future-state processes.
Convert business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
Pega Solution Design
Define and document:
o Case types, stages, and flows
o Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
o Business rules
o Data models and mappings
o UI/UX requirements and screen mockups
Ensure proposed solutions align with Pega framework capabilities and best practices.
Validate business requirements for technical feasibility within the Pega platform.
Agile Delivery
Participate in Agile ceremonies including:
o Backlog Grooming
o Sprint Planning
o Daily Stand-ups
o Sprint Reviews and Demos
Create, maintain, and manage Product Backlog Items (PBIs).
Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and refine requirements.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT delivery team.
Work closely with:
o Lead System Architects (LSA)
o Senior System Architects (SSA)
o Developers
Conduct playback sessions, solution walkthroughs, demos, and requirement clarification meetings.
Manage stakeholder expectations and obtain approvals for requirements and deliverables.
Testing & Validation
Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Define acceptance criteria and review test cases.
Validate delivered solutions against documented requirements.
Ensure Business Analyst sign-off before test execution and release activities.
Documentation & Deliverables
Develop and maintain:
Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
User Stories with Acceptance Criteria
Process Maps and Workflow Diagrams
Data Models and Data Mapping Documents
UI Mockups and Wireframes
Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Required Skills
Practical experience with Pega Platform and Pega Customer Service (PCS) framework.
Strong business analysis and requirement elicitation skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of case management, workflows, SLAs, and business process modeling.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience with testing support, SIT, and UAT processes.
Strong documentation and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Pega Business Architect (PBA) certification preferred.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in enterprise environments.
