They are seeking a System Integration Business Analyst to support the Space division in Huntsville, AL, focusing on Software Asset Management and problem ticket coordination, while maintaining operational support and tracking software assets throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Software Asset Management with responsibility for successfully maintaining day to day operational support as it relates to Software Asset Management and Problem ticket coordination
- Integrate with user community, Desktop, Server, IT Procurement teams to successfully plan, support, coordinate, and track software assets throughout the software asset’s lifecycle from procurement to deployment, to maintenance, and disposition
- Daily activities include data analysis, and reporting; customer service, producing monthly metrics, ticket routing and maintenance of software asset information in asset management databases
Requirements:
- Knowledge of asset management principles
- Knowledge of Information Technology support and functions
- Experienced with the use of Microsoft Suite of products to develop reports and charts
- Experience using a helpdesk ticketing system (Remedy, Service Now, etc.)
- Working knowledge of software reconciliation, licensing, maintenance and conditions between procured rights and compliance
- Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of maintaining accurate software inventory levels. Report shortages, overages and all inventory levels monthly for replenishment
- Ability to create, author and follow processes
- Experience assisting in the development and maintenance of effective software asset management processes and procedures
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines
- Experience with Filemaker Pro and Procure-to-pay system (P2P) system
- Experience in a call center environment
