Simulation AI Infrastructure Intern

Mclaurin Aerospace is seeking an intern to help build a secure, containerized AI agent environment for modeling and simulation workflows. The role involves integrating various CLI tools with locally hosted LLMs and creating an AI-assisted engineering workspace that interacts with simulation repositories and workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure AI agent CLI frameworks inside Docker
• Connect agent frameworks to locally hosted LLMs through Ollama
• Configure secure containerized environments with restricted/no network access
• Build workflow tooling, commands, MCP tools/resources, and plugins tailored to simulation workflows
• Integrate simulation documentation and engineering repositories into the agent workspace
• Demonstrate the ability for the agent to:
• Configure vehicle simulations
• Execute workflows
• Perform analysis and post-processing
