Position Summary
Seeking a highly experienced Oracle SOA Integration Engineer (8+ years) to architect, design, and implement enterprise-level integration solutions. Ideal candidates will have expertise in complex SOA orchestration, real-time monitoring, B2B integrations, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and design architectural frameworks for SOA integrations.
- Develop SOA composites, OSB services, BPEL processes, Mediator flows, Business Rules, and Human Workflow components.
- Architect robust error-handling, auto-recovery, and fault frameworks.
- Implement and support B2B, BAM, AIA, MFT integrations including EDI (850, 855, 856, 810, 824) and RosettaNet PIP specifications.
- Configure SOA/WebLogic environments including SSL, queues/topics, JKS, data sources, JDBC, clustering, and load balancing.
- Design BAM dashboards for real-time alerting and process monitoring.
- Create SOAP/REST services with WSDL, XML, JSON structures.
- Administer WebLogic 12c/11g, perform tuning, deployments, and troubleshooting.
- Build CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Hudson) and manage version control (Git/SVN/P4).
- Write scripts (Shell, WLST, ANT, Maven, Python) to automate deployments.
- Prepare BRD, FDD, TDD, and operational documentation.
- Work across BA, architecture, QA, and engineering teams using Agile/Scrum.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 8+ years hands-on Oracle SOA Suite 12c/11g experience.
- Expert-level BPEL, Mediator, OSB, SCA composites.
- Experience with AIA, BAM, B2B, MFT frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in XSLT, XQuery, XPath, XSD, XML technologies.
- Oracle WebLogic administration (install, configure, cluster).
- Strong PL/SQL and Oracle Database experience.
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Hudson, Maven) and scripting (WLST, Shell, Python).
- Deep understanding of SOA design patterns and integration best practices.
Professional Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- Experience delivering large integration projects (government/utility/finance preferred).
- Experience with SDLC (Agile/Scrum + Waterfall).
- Strong troubleshooting and RCA experience.
- Knowledge of HA/DR architectures and dual data-center configurations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle SOA Architect certification.
- Experience with OCI, AWS, or Azure.
- Familiarity with other integration platforms (TIBCO, webMethods, MuleSoft, IBM IIB).
- Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, Appian.
- DevOps tools (BladeLogic) and API management/governance.
- Linux/Unix administration (Red Hat, Solaris).
- Experience in utilities, government, or financial domains.
