They are seeking a Business Intelligence/Data Analyst to manage high-priority revenue and financial reporting initiatives, focusing on data validation, reconciliation, and investigation across multiple systems.
Responsibilities:
- Pull and analyze large datasets from multiple systems and data sources
- Validate data completeness and accuracy, ensuring full population coverage
- Trace data from source systems through transformations and reporting outputs to understand how information flows across the environment
- Investigate and resolve data variances when reported results do not align with expected outcomes
- Perform root-cause analysis to identify data quality issues, missing records, transformation gaps, or reporting inconsistencies
- Create and maintain clear documentation, reconciliation support, and audit-ready workpapers that explain methodology, assumptions, and findings
- Respond to urgent or ambiguous business requests by clarifying requirements and delivering actionable analysis
- Partner closely with Revenue Accounting, Finance, and Audit stakeholders to translate business questions into structured data investigations
Requirements:
- Build and optimize SQL queries (supported by AI tools like Claude Code / CodeX) for deep-dive data analysis and financial account reconciliation
- Experience querying and analyzing large datasets across multiple systems (Salesforce, Stripe, Oracle, etc) within enterprise data platforms preferred
- Experience reconciling data and investigating discrepancies between systems or reporting outputs
- Experience supporting accounting, finance, or related business functions is a plus
- Experience working in SaaS, technology, or other highly data-driven environments required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause investigation
