Vogelsang USA, LTD is a globally recognized leader in positive displacement pumps and advanced fluid handling solutions. They are seeking a Territory Sales Engineer who will manage an assigned territory, build distributor partnerships, and engage end-users while applying technical knowledge to recommend pump and process equipment solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an assigned territory through distributor relationships and direct end-user engagement
- Learn and execute channel-selling strategies, building productive partnerships with industrial distributors
- Apply technical knowledge to understand customer applications and propose appropriate pump and process equipment solutions
- Maintain a disciplined CRM practice using Salesforce as the primary tool for pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting
- Participate in training programs and product education to build deep expertise in our pump and process equipment portfolio
- Support key account management under the guidance of senior sales leadership
- Develop market presence across target sectors including biogas, water/wastewater, chemical processing, food waste, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing
- Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to distributors and customers
- Report on territory activity, market intelligence, and pipeline progress in coordination with management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or related Engineering discipline preferred
- Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical product offerings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) strongly advantageous
- Experience in industrial equipment sales or applications: valves, compressors, pumps, automation, HVAC, water/wastewater, or environmental systems
- Background in field service or commissioning with strong customer interaction experience
- Familiarity with distributor or channel selling models in industrial markets
- Experience in target market sectors: biogas, agriculture, waste management, chemical processing, food and beverage, wastewater treatment, or petrochemicals
- Prior experience transitioning from a technical or engineering role into a customer-facing sales position
