About this role
Role Overview
Generate new prospects and nurture existing prospects through outbound phone calls and emails to meet daily and weekly targets
Execute outbound campaigns regularly developed on your own or in collaboration with account managers and management
Meet weekly call requirements
Achieve weekly sales goals by setting qualified meetings for the sales team
Provide enough information from your qualification call to make the meeting a success
Regularly participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Follow up with and qualify inbound leads in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
1+ years of sales development/sales experience
Bachelor’s degree
Previous K-12 teaching experience
Experience in education industry (K-12 & higher ed), SaaS preferred
Excellent phone, written and verbal skills
Well organized with efficient time management skills
Eager to collaborate
Maintain a positive attitude and commitment to exceed sales objectives
Interest and experience in phone and email prospecting
Build rapport quickly through asking great questions and active listening
Ability to initiate a conversation, communicate value and handle objections
Self-motivated, driven to succeed
Self-starter with the ability to work and manage time in a fast-paced, virtual environment
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
High degree of responsiveness and integrity
