About this roleJob Summary The Cisco ISE / Aruba Network Engineer will provide Tier 3 operational support for enterprise campus networking environments, including wired, wireless, and authentication technologies. This role is responsible for troubleshooting complex network issues, supporting critical end-user connectivity services, collaborating with engineering teams during technology transitions, and serving as an escalation point for advanced networking incidents. Key Responsibilities Provide Tier 3 support for enterprise campus networking environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex wired, wireless, and authentication-related network incidents. Serve as the primary escalation point for advanced end-user connectivity issues. Support and maintain Cisco wired switching infrastructure. Support and troubleshoot Cisco ISE authentication environments, including 802.1X implementations. Support Aruba wireless networking environments and associated technologies. Manage and troubleshoot ClearPass authentication solutions. Collaborate with engineering teams during technology implementations and operational transitions. Ensure appropriate monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness for network services. Participate in major incident management calls and assist with rapid issue resolution. Mentor and provide technical guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support analysts. Assist in developing operational processes, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Monitor network performance and proactively identify opportunities for service improvement. Support enterprise networking initiatives and operational excellence objectives. Required Qualifications Strong experience supporting enterprise campus networking environments. Experience supporting and troubleshooting Cisco wired switching infrastructure. Experience working with network authentication platforms such as Cisco ISE, ICE, or ClearPass. Experience supporting wireless networking environments. Strong understanding of 802.1X authentication and network access control technologies. Experience troubleshooting complex end-user connectivity issues. Knowledge of network monitoring, incident management, and operational support processes. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to mentor junior support personnel and provide technical leadership. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Aruba wireless networking solutions. Experience working within large enterprise networking environments. Experience collaborating with Network Operations Center (NOC) and engineering teams during service transitions. Experience supporting highly available and business-critical network infrastructures. Knowledge of enterprise network security and access control technologies.
