NantHealth, through its AirStrip division, builds technology that enhances clinical surveillance and communication, aiming to improve patient care. They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring effective delivery and management of project expectations and resources.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage delivery of projects from beginning to end, including creation of the Project Charter and Project Plan, leading team calls, tracking tasks and issues in an Action Log, tracking milestones and deliverables, performing risk management and contingency planning, and conducting lessons learned meetings at the end of projects
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
- Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; in a technical field, healthcare field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare or business with significant portions managing IT projects or technology deployment projects
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or actively in progress of obtaining
- 2+ years previous work experience in project support of similar experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages
- Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
- Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments
- Proven history of self-motivation and ability to work independently
