Senior Business Analyst (Healthcare/Payer)

Accelyst is an AI consultancy and staffing firm delivering innovative AI solutions and high-quality staffing services. They are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support strategic healthcare initiatives across Revenue Management, Payment Integrity, Data Quality, and Operations, acting as a key liaison between business and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements
• Act as liaison between stakeholders, operations, and IT teams
• Support initiatives in Revenue Management, Claims, Payment Integrity, Provider, Membership, and Finance
• Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis
• Create BRDs, user stories, process flows, and use cases
• Lead stakeholder workshops, requirement sessions, and solution discussions
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Support UAT, defect tracking, and implementation activities
• Provide reporting, metrics, and executive status updates

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Healthcare payer / health insurance / managed care experience required
• Experience with Revenue Cycle, Claims, Payment Integrity, or Financial Operations
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and data quality validation
• Full SDLC/project lifecycle experience
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently
