Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Payments Strategy)

Ottimate is an AI-powered AP automation platform that helps finance teams enhance efficiency and compliance. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will analyze complex financial data to support strategic decision-making, transforming raw data into actionable insights for the executive team.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards that track customer and vendor behaviors, identifying trends that signify churn risk or growth opportunities
• Develop data-driven forecasts for interchange revenue and operational savings to support quarterly business reviews
• Act as an internal consultant to identify high-value areas for resource allocation, such as shifting high-volume check spend to e-payments
• Perform rigorous self-audits and reconciliation to ensure that every figure presented to leadership is 100% accurate and defensible

Requirements:

• Expert-level SQL (complex joins, CTEs)
• PowerBI
• Excel (advanced modeling)
• 4+ years in a Business Intelligence or Financial Analyst role
• Experience presenting complex data insights directly to C-level executives or Department Leads
• Previous experience in the US payments industry (Interchange, ACH, VCC)
• A borderline-obsessive attention to detail
• Python is a strong plus
