About this role
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain storage and backup solutions
- Install, configure, provision, and decommission storage systems
- Manage and troubleshoot NFS exports and CIFS shares
- Support and resolve production incidents across environments
- Monitor systems, optimize performance, and ensure availability
- Handle system management, access control, and security compliance
- Collaborate with application/database teams for storage integration
- Identify, implement, and recommend automation and monitoring tools
- Develop documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Automate tasks using scripting and Ansible
- Research new technologies and improve processes
- Participate in on-call support rotation
Key Requirements:
- Active hands-on experience in a production environment
- Strong production support experience in Storage & Backup engineering
- Solid expertise in large-scale SAN and storage systems (NetApp, EMC, HPE, IBM, Cisco, Rubrik, Brocade)
- Hands-on experience with NetApp Grid
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (AIX, Linux, Windows, VMware)
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAN/Storage Administration certifications
- Concise and well-structured resumes preferred
