Job Details:

• We are seeking a hands-on Data Center Optical Engineer with experience in fiber optic infrastructure, optical transport, and data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee fiber installations, migrations, break/fix, and remediation activities.
• Support and troubleshoot optical transport infrastructure in data center and colocation environments.
• Conduct optical testing using tools such as OTDR, optical power meters, and VFLs.
• Review and execute MoPs, network diagrams, and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data center, fiber optics, or telecom infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with single mode/multi-mode fiber, structured cabling, and optical testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Previous team lead or field coordination experience is a plus.
