Senior Controls Engineer- Grain Handling & Industrial Paint Systems Industries

Kasa Companies is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to support project delivery within the Grain Handling and Industrial Paint Systems industries. This role involves PLC programming and controls expertise, alongside hands-on work in the field, managing installations and supporting installers.

Responsibilities:

• Support project delivery within the Grain Handling and Industrial Paint Systems industries
• Bring a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work hands-on in the field
• Work alongside millwrights and electricians during installation and commissioning
• Support installers with mounting hardware, managing cable runs, and operating pneumatic systems
• Develop familiarity with liquid and powder painting applications, robot and reciprocator painting applications, ASi communication network design and troubleshooting, industrial networks, ERP-to-MES data exchange, Ignition and database platforms, friction conveyors, track switches, vertical lifts, washer systems and oven processes
• Manage subcontractors and lead technical conversations
• Drive sound technical decision-making and represent Kasa's standards of professionalism and accountability on-site
• Provide remote support to current and prospective customers as project needs arise

Requirements:

• PLC programming and controls expertise
• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Operating pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with liquid and powder painting applications

• Understanding of industrial networks
• Experience with ERP-to-MES data exchange
• Familiarity with Ignition and database platforms
• Knowledge of friction conveyors, track switches, vertical lifts
• Experience with washer systems and oven processes

• Approximately 50% travel requirement
