Mobile QA Tester - AI Sports Data Application (Bilingual - Japanese, Korean or Vietnamese)

Job Overview:

We are seeking detail-oriented Mobile QA Tester/Localization QA Testers to support the validation and localization of an AI-powered sports data application. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, accuracy, usability, and performance of the AI agent across different regional markets, including the United States, Japan, and Vietnam.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mobile application testing skills, experience evaluating AI-generated responses, and a deep understanding of local language, culture, and sports data relevant to their region.

Key Responsibilities:

Localization & AI Validation:

• Validate the localization quality of the AI sports assistant across local language environments.
• Assess AI response accuracy, relevance, consistency, speed, and stability.
• Verify the accuracy of local sports data integration, including leagues, teams, players, and match information.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for language quality, cultural appropriateness, and user experience.

Mobile Application Testing:

• Perform functional, usability, UI, and performance testing of the mobile application.
• Test application installation, launch, navigation, and core features on multiple devices and operating systems (iOS and Android).
• Identify, document, and report defects with detailed reproduction steps.
• Conduct regression testing after fixes are implemented.

Localization Quality Assurance:

• Verify local-language responses (English, Japanese, or Vietnamese depending on region).
• Validate display formatting, translations, and localization accuracy.
• Assess application performance across various network conditions, device types, screen resolutions, and OS versions.
• Compare regional testing results against established baseline quality metrics.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Classify and prioritize defects based on severity and business impact.
• Analyze deviations in AI performance and localization quality across regions.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports with findings, recommendations, and validation results.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic experience in Mobile Application QA Testing.
• Understanding of AI chatbot/AI agent evaluation and response validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent defect documentation and reporting abilities.
• Native or near-native proficiency in the target local language (English, Japanese, or Vietnamese).
• Deep understanding of local culture, sports ecosystem, and sports terminology.
• Ability to work independently and follow structured testing procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
• Familiarity with localization testing and multilingual applications.
• Knowledge of sports data platforms, live score applications, or sports analytics products.
• Experience using bug tracking and test management tools.

Testing Scope:

Baseline Validation (Korea):

• Validate AI agent functionality, response quality, speed, and stability.
• Establish benchmark metrics for international localization testing.
• Support defect reporting and verification of issue resolution.

Regional Localization Testing (USA, Japan, Vietnam):

• Conduct device, network, and carrier-specific usability testing.
• Validate localized sports data and AI responses.
• Verify functionality across multiple OS versions and device configurations.
• Re-test and validate fixes after implementation.

Deliverables:

• Functional, UI, and performance testing reports.
• AI response quality and localization validation reports.
• Defect logs with prioritization and recommendations.
• Comparative analysis against baseline quality metrics.
• Final localization QA assessment and sign-off report.
