The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will work within the Enterprise Storage Strategy & Operations team to drive strategic planning, enhance operational rigor, and deliver business intelligence insights to leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Build the data foundation
- Design and maintain custom data models in Snowflake tailored to Enterprise Storage product use cases
- Own data quality - identify gaps, reconcile discrepancies, and establish trusted datasets that leadership can rely on
- Deliver business intelligence with strategic context
- Deliver Executive Monthly Business Reviews for Enterprise Storage, presented to C-Staff
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into business performance - designed around the questions Product needs to answer
- Create custom metrics views tied to active strategic initiatives
- Apply analytics to strategy and operations problems
- Strategy: Frame and answer the big questions with a hypothesis-driven approach - market sizing, wallet share estimation, competitive benchmarking, industry vertical opportunity assessments
- Operations: Diagnose business performance, e.g., AOP attainment drivers, bookings linearity, pricing trends ($/GB), margin analysis
- Product portfolio: Inform investment and positioning decisions, e.g., product mix shifts, platform transitions, new product introduction
- Go beyond the numbers: Synthesize findings into clear, opinionated recommendations that leadership can make decisions and act on
- Operate as a Product partner
- Work day-to-day with Product Management, StratOps, Engineering, Finance, Pricing, etc. on the highest-impact opportunities/problems for Enterprise Storage org
- Contribute to Board-level strategy materials, C-Staff executive reviews, and lead Enterprise Storage leadership discussions
- Understand the strategy, industry trends, competitive landscape and business/product context to drive the proactive data/analytics roadmap, not just respond to requests
