Title: Battery Thermal Engineer
Location: Fully Onsite in Cupertino, CA
Contract Duration: 12+ Months CTH - no sponsorship available
Looking for a hands-on ANSYS AEDT Icepak engineer with end-to-end thermal simulation development experience supporting electronics cooling / hardware design. Must be able to build and own models not just run existing simulations.
Insight: There are TWO openings for this and will move quickly. They are open to someone junior for this role (2-3+ years). Looking for someone who has done all the elements within AEDT Icepak (target candidates from Spacex).
Must-have callout:
- Hands-on ANSYS AEDT Icepak engineer with end-to-end simulation development experience
Clarify:
- Needs electronics thermal / cooling experience, not general thermal
- Must have built models (not just run prebuilt sims)
Preferred Qualifications:
MS/PhD + 5 yrs relevant experience
Familiarity in Cadence Allegro and electronics layout design
Familiarity with li-ion cells and battery packs
Familiarity with NX, Comsol
Experience in electronics cooling
