They are seeking a Senior Lead, Software Engineering Specialist to design, configure, and support Workday Time Tracking and Absence solutions, acting as a subject matter expert and collaborating with various teams to deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and support Time Tracking and Absence solutions with Workday as the system of record
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Time Tracking and Absence, owning solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment across global business requirements
- Partner closely with HR, Payroll, and downstream teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and scalable solutions that support both day‑to‑day operations and evolving business needs
- Translate business requirements into Workday configuration solutions, advise on best practices, identify impacts across related domains, and ensure solutions are sustainable and supportable
- Collaborate with integration partners and technical teams where needed, focusing on functional configuration, solution quality, and business outcomes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands‑on Workday configuration experience, with deep expertise in Time Tracking and Absence
- Proven ability to independently design and deliver Workday configuration solutions, from requirements through deployment
- Strong understanding of time, absence, and payroll‑related business processes, including downstream impacts
- Experience supporting production Workday environments, including troubleshooting and configuration changes in live systems
- Experience supporting global or multi‑country Workday deployments
- Familiarity with Workday business process frameworks, security considerations, and reporting impacts related to Time and Absence
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, supportable Workday solutions using best‑practice configuration approaches
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in an enterprise, cross‑functional environment
- Experience configuring one or more additional Workday functional areas, such as Compensation, Benefits, or Projects
- Experience working in a matrixed or global team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, HRIS, or a related field
