REMOTE / 82-86HR / Must Have Component Interface - Integration Broker - Campus Solutions
We are seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Developer with strong experience in Campus Solutions to support and enhance enterprise student systems. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and delivering scalable solutions using PeopleSoft tools and PL/SQL.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with functional teams and business users to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Design, develop, test, and implement PeopleSoft Campus Solutions enhancements and customizations.
- Develop and maintain Application Engine programs, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, SQR, and Integration Broker solutions.
- Write efficient PL/SQL queries, procedures, and performance-tuned database logic.
- Support and enhance modules within Campus Solutions (Admissions, Student Records, Financial Aid, Student Financials, or similar).
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT efforts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with DBAs and infrastructure teams on performance tuning and optimization.
- Maintain documentation for technical designs, processes, and changes.
- Ensure adherence to development standards, security policies, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of PeopleSoft development experience.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Strong experience in:
- PeopleCode
- Application Engine
- Component Interfaces
- SQR / BI Publisher
- Integration Broker
- Strong proficiency in Oracle database and PL/SQL.
- Experience gathering requirements and converting them into technical design documents.
- Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid UI.
- Knowledge of PeopleTools upgrades and PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager).
- Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience in higher education environments.
