Ellit Groups is a Private Equity-backed, woman, minority-led healthcare IT consulting firm focused on Provider and Payer organizations. They are seeking an experienced Go-Live & Cutover Project Manager to support a major healthcare technology implementation during a 4-month contract engagement, driving successful go-live planning and execution activities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive Go-Live planning activities to ensure operational and technical readiness
- Design, implement, and oversee ticket triage processes and support workflows during Go-Live and stabilization periods
- Plan, facilitate, and manage daily Go-Live calls with executive leadership, project stakeholders, operational leaders, and technical teams
- Organize and coordinate all logistics required for standing up and managing command centers, including staffing, escalation pathways, communication protocols, issue tracking, and reporting
- Partner with clinical, operational, and IT teams to execute cutover and activation plans
- Monitor Go-Live readiness, project risks, dependencies, and critical issues, ensuring timely communication and resolution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to address incidents, remove roadblocks, and maintain project momentum during Go-Live events
- Provide regular status updates and executive communications regarding Go-Live readiness and stabilization progress
- Support post-Go-Live stabilization activities and facilitate lessons learned sessions
Requirements:
- Project management experience supporting large-scale healthcare technology implementations
- 5 yrs experience in Epic Implementations (Go-Live/Activation/Cutover)
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level Go-Live planning and execution activities
- Extensive experience managing ticket triage processes, command center operations, incident management, and support coordination
- Proven ability to facilitate daily executive-level Go-Live meetings and drive decision-making in high-pressure environments
- Experience organizing and managing command center logistics for large-scale implementations
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience supporting Epic or other major EHR implementations
- Previous experience working with health systems, hospitals, or integrated delivery networks
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and implementation methodologies
