ApprentiScope is a fast-growing software company helping organizations effectively scale their Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning programs. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their expanding sales team, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and establishing relationships with prospective customers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, including email, phone, and social channels (~60 activities per day)
- Conduct research to understand target industries, customer needs, and decision-making processes
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and ensure all interactions are logged and tracked accurately in the CRM
- Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings between qualified leads and Account Executives
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and refine outreach strategies for specific markets and verticals
- Share customer insights, feedback, and trends to help shape sales messaging and campaigns
- Participate in team meetings to discuss performance metrics, outreach results, and process improvements
- Track and report key sales metrics, including outreach activity, conversion rates, and pipeline growth
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve outbound processes, messaging, and targeting strategies
- Use data-driven insights to adjust tactics and enhance lead quality and engagement
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in software sales or B2B sales (preferably in SaaS or technology environments)
- Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting or lead generation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a small, distributed team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
