This senior consulting role focuses on implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce and Finance & Operations (F&O) solutions. The consultant will drive configuration, integration, and deployment of omnichannel commerce capabilities across e-commerce, POS, call center, and retail channels.
The role supports multi-entity global operations across the USA and India, ensuring compliance with US sales tax regulations and Indian GST/e-invoicing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
D365 Commerce Implementation
- Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and process design for commerce scenarios
- Configure D365 Commerce modules including:
- Site builder
- Product catalogs and assortments
- Channels and storefronts
- POS systems
- Loyalty programs
- B2B hierarchies
- Support pricing, promotions, order management, payments, returns, and omnichannel flows (online + in-store)
Integration & Architecture
- Design integrations between:
- D365 Commerce
- D365 F&O (Finance & Supply Chain)
- Power Platform
- Third-party systems (payment gateways, shipping carriers, ERPs)
- Use APIs, Dual-write, and Commerce Scale Units for integration
Data, Finance & Compliance
- Configure tax engines for US nexus rules and Indian GST/e-invoicing
- Set up financial dimensions and multi-currency reporting
- Support data migration for products, customers, pricing, and orders
Testing & Deployment
- Support UAT and performance testing for high-volume retail transactions
- Lead hypercare and post-go-live stabilization activities
Enablement & Leadership
- Conduct end-user training and change management workshops
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across USA and India time zones
- Mentor junior consultants and promote reusable Commerce assets
- Contribute to pre-sales demos and RFP solutioning
Required Experience
- 8 10 years in retail / e-commerce / ERP consulting
- 5+ years hands-on experience in D365 Commerce and F&O integration
- 3+ full lifecycle D365 Commerce implementations
- Experience in omnichannel retail projects (POS, e-commerce, B2B portals)
- Experience working in Agile environments and global delivery teams
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s / Master s degree in Business, IT, or related field

- Strong expertise in:
- D365 Commerce configuration
