Dronodat GmbH is a startup focused on advancing radar, computer vision, and sensor fusion technologies. They are seeking a Radar and Computer Vision Engineer to configure radar data, develop detection algorithms, and integrate vision-based solutions with other sensor modalities.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and process radar data for object detection
- Develop techniques to reduce noise, ground clutter, and improve signal clarity
- Implement algorithms to detect and track small objects with high accuracy
- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for object detection and tracking
- Work with RGB camera data to enhance detection capabilities
- Integrate vision-based solutions with other sensor modalities
- Design and implement algorithms to fuse radar and computer vision data
- Enhance detection accuracy and robustness by combining multi-sensor inputs
- Collaborate with the team to integrate fusion algorithms into the overall system
Requirements:
- Background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Strong experience in radar data processing and/or computer vision
- Proficiency in programming (Python, C++, or MATLAB)
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) for developing and integrating robotic systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
- Design and implement algorithms to fuse radar and computer vision data
- Familiarity with sensor fusion techniques and algorithms is a plus
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a bonus
- Familiarity with embedded systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson) is a plus
