Vertex Integration Partners is a nationally respected electrical contractor known for delivering complex commercial and mission-critical projects. They are seeking a Traveling Project Manager to lead field-based project execution, overseeing all aspects of electrical construction from pre-mobilization through closeout.
Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical construction projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality goals
- Supervise and mentor project teams, including Project Managers, Assistants, and field staff
- Manage all aspects of project financials, including cost tracking, progress billing, forecasting, and change orders
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure coordination and project momentum
- Identify and proactively address risks, conflicts, or delays in collaboration with field leadership
- Represent the company in progress meetings and ensure timely, transparent reporting to all stakeholders
- Promote innovative construction strategies, including prefabrication and process improvement initiatives
- Uphold and model the highest standards of safety and professional conduct on every project site
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of electrical systems and construction sequencing
- Proven track record leading large-scale commercial or mission-critical electrical projects
- Strong leadership, team development, and mentorship skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing presence
- Financial acumen and comfort managing project budgets and forecasting
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in changing environments
- Comfortable working in high-visibility roles and collaborating across disciplines
- 10+ years of experience in electrical construction project management
- OSHA safety certifications and understanding of construction safety protocols
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- PE license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Oracle and estimating platforms (e.g., Accubid)
