Security Engineer

Great Value Hiring is seeking a Security Engineer to contribute to the evaluation and improvement of frontier AI coding models through structured technical assessments. The role involves using AI coding agents to complete complex security engineering tasks and reviewing model-generated code for vulnerabilities and security risks.

Responsibilities:

• Use frontier AI coding agents to complete and evaluate complex security engineering tasks
• Review model-generated code and architectures for vulnerabilities, security risks, and implementation flaws
• Identify bugs, edge cases, and security-related failure modes
• Compare outputs from multiple frontier models and assess their strengths and weaknesses
• Apply professional engineering judgment to realistic security engineering scenarios

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional security engineering experience
• Experience with application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, vulnerability management, or security tooling
• Regular use of AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or similar tools
• Ability to identify flaws in model-generated code and architectures
• Experience securing production systems
