Zommerce is a Shopify-focused development agency helping ecommerce and DTC brands with Shopify development and solutions. They are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to generate qualified Shopify opportunities and expand their presence across the USA and UK.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage ecommerce brands requiring Shopify services
- Generate qualified leads through networking, partnerships, referrals, and outbound outreach
- Build relationships with DTC founders, ecommerce managers, consultants, and agency partners
- Qualify opportunities and schedule discovery calls
- Work closely with our team to develop proposals and close projects
- Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline
- Consistently contribute to revenue growth through new business acquisition
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Agency Sales, Ecommerce Sales, SaaS Sales, or Partnership Development
- Strong experience working in a Shopify agency (MUST)
- Proven track record of generating and closing B2B opportunities
- Experience selling digital services, ecommerce solutions, web development services, marketing services, or technology solutions
- Strong understanding of ecommerce business models and digital commerce
- Existing network within the ecommerce, DTC, retail, or agency ecosystem is highly preferred
- Experience working with Shopify, Shopify Plus, ecommerce platforms, or digital agencies is a significant advantage
