Anaconda, Inc. is a leading company in AI and data science, dedicated to providing open source solutions at scale. They are seeking a Senior Business Development Representative to manage inbound leads, develop outbound campaigns, and leverage AI tools to drive sales and growth in the enterprise market.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize inbound leads to ensure timely and effective follow-up
- Work with the sales team to develop and lead targeted outbound campaigns from idea generation through to qualified calls
- Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
- Proactively organize and maintain the sales pipeline, keeping detailed records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
- Develop and implement strategies to increase the conversion rate of meetings to opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices
- Use AI tools to identify and prioritize buying signals across target accounts, including data role hiring patterns, GitHub activity, tech stack shifts, and funding events
- Build AI-assisted account research briefs prior to first contact, synthesizing a prospect's AI strategy, current tooling, and likely pain points to inform outreach and discovery
- Leverage AI to map personas within target accounts (data scientists, ML engineers, IT/security, procurement) and develop role-tailored messaging for each stakeholder
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in Business Development
- Highly competitive, achievement-oriented, motivated, and driven to exceed goals

- Excellent communication skills, including phone and written communication, as well as active listening
- Values selling experience
- Experience prospecting into multi-threaded Enterprise-level accounts
- Experience utilizing Sales Enablement tools (ie. Salesforce, Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for account research and prospecting workflows, including identifying buying signals, building research briefs, or tailoring outreach to multiple personas within an enterprise account

- Has built a repeatable AI-assisted prospecting system, for example using tools like Clay, Apollo, or custom GPT workflows to automate signal monitoring, account scoring, or persona-level message variants at scale
