Senior Healthcare Data Analyst / Developer (Cerner CCL & ECR)

Cordea Consulting is seeking an experienced Healthcare Data Analyst / Developer with expertise in Cerner systems for a minimum 6-month full-time engagement. The role focuses on leveraging Cerner Command Language (CCL) and Electronic Clinical Record (ECR) data models to build, optimize, and maintain critical healthcare data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• CCL Development: Write, test, and optimize complex Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts to extract, manipulate, and report on clinical and operational data
• Data Analysis & Architecture: Analyze ECR (Electronic Clinical Record) data structures and schemas to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting across clinical workflows
• Reporting & Analytics: Design and deliver customized data extracts, dashboards, and automated reports to meet stakeholder and regulatory requirements
• System Optimization: Troubleshoot existing CCL scripts and database queries to improve performance and minimize system latency
• Collaboration: Work closely with clinical analysts, IT stakeholders, and operational leaders to translate complex business requirements into technical data specifications

Requirements:

• Proven, hands-on experience writing and modifying Cerner Command Language (CCL) code
• Strong technical understanding of Electronic Clinical Record data models, tables, and architecture
• Extensive background working with healthcare data metrics (e.g., patient workflows, clinical documentation, or revenue cycle)
• Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a 100% remote environment, managing deadlines and deliverables with minimal oversight
• Strong SQL skills and database troubleshooting capabilities
