QA Tester

Job Description
Client is looking to bring on a QA onto their team. This individual will primarily be responsible for manual testing, unit test, test scripts, etc. but will also be working with API testing, Postman, AccelQ and supporting up to 5 scrum teams. This individual will work on a small testing team and predominantly support the Accounting division and development team of client.
- Some main duties will be front and backend testing
- Automation here is not true automation testing that requires coding skills. They use AccelQ which is more so low code, point and click type automation. Don t want to see QA people that are doing automation now because it s totally different
- SQL knowledge - Basic experience ( Can state the difference between update and selects statements) knowing tables is a major plus.
- Cultural fit is biggest THINK like a tester How could I break this? What could go wrong? Let me test for THAT and not just running basic tests that the devs know would pass.
Top Skills' Details
- 4+ years experience in manual testing/QA - must have OnBase Experience
- Ability to create and execute test cases, unit tests, etc.
- SQL commands, statements, and creating joins
- Cultural Fit
Other skills:
- Must be a cultural fit with great communication skills (i.e. thorough, genuine, takes initiative, curious, willing to learn)
- Willingness to learn AccelQ, their low-code API test automation solution
- Agile experience (will be supporting up to 5 different scrum team)
