Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Solution Architect/Tech Lead - With deep Oracle and intermediate Azure knowledge, intermediate security experience and knowledge - Will be providing technical oversight and patterns for ensuring a robust and risk averse approach to treatments. They need to come up with approaches and considerations for the upgrade paths and adapt the solution to the relevant instances as more issues are found. Will be required to do analysis on the databases along with the oracle tech SMEs with Azure exp and come up with solid recommendations related to any potential issues and provide technical workarounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical design activities for Oracle database and application environments.
• Provide technical oversight and establish solution patterns to ensure a robust, scalable, and risk-averse implementation approach.
• Analyze Oracle database environments and collaborate with Oracle SMEs to identify technical challenges and dependencies.
• Evaluate and recommend Oracle upgrade and migration strategies, including mitigation plans for identified risks.
• Assess current-state architectures and provide recommendations for performance, reliability, security, and operational improvements.
• Work with Azure teams to ensure Oracle workloads are aligned with cloud best practices and enterprise standards.
• Develop technical workarounds and remediation strategies for complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Review architecture, design documents, and implementation plans to ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements.
• Conduct impact assessments and provide guidance on database modernization, migration, and optimization initiatives.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of critical production issues.
• Create architecture artifacts, technical documentation, and implementation roadmaps.
• Mentor technical teams and provide leadership during project execution.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle technologies and enterprise solution architecture.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Database Administration, architecture, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and upgrades.
• Strong experience designing and supporting large-scale Oracle environments.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Good understanding of enterprise security principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience performing technical assessments, architecture reviews, and solution recommendations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, SMEs, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and high-availability solutions.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, storage, security, and monitoring services.
• Experience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Oracle and/or Azure certifications preferred.
• Experience in regulated enterprise environments such as banking, financial services, or insurance.
