Turing is the world’s leading research accelerator for frontier AI labs, seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to projects that evaluate and enhance AI systems. The role involves designing solutions to real-world software engineering problems and collaborating with researchers to refine AI understanding of code generation and development workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design and solve real-world software engineering and algorithmic problems to test AI reasoning
• Write clear, step-by-step coding solutions across data structures, APIs, debugging, and optimization techniques
• Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to software design principles
• Collaborate with researchers to refine AI understanding of code generation, problem-solving, and real-world development workflows

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Engineer, or Programmer
• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go
• Excellent English communication and ability to document and explain code logic clearly
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and agile development methodologies
