Research Scientist – EEG Foundation Models & AI

Neumarker Inc. is a pioneering company merging neuroscience with advanced data analytics to enhance patient care and drug development for neurological disorders. They are seeking a Research Scientist to develop foundation models and algorithms for EEG analysis and biomarker discovery, enabling next-generation AI applications in neuroscience and precision medicine.

Responsibilities:

• Develop machine learning and deep learning methods for EEG analysis and biomarker discovery
• Build foundation models for EEG using self-supervised learning, transformers, representation learning, and multimodal AI
• Develop AI agents and LLM-based systems for scientific discovery, literature mining, clinical interpretation, and research automation
• Design deep learning approaches to harmonize EEG data across different devices, montages, recording protocols, clinical sites, and patient populations
• Develop device-agnostic EEG representations that generalize across heterogeneous datasets
• Analyze large-scale EEG datasets from clinical trials and real-world studies in CNS disorders, including epilepsy, autism, depression, schizophrenia, and related conditions
• Collaborate with neuroscientists, clinicians, data scientists, and engineers
• Publish scientific findings and contribute to intellectual property development
