Amazon is seeking a Principal Technical Business Development Manager for their Autos division to drive strategic partnerships with automotive OEMs. The role involves developing go-to-market strategies, leading complex negotiations, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to enhance Amazon's automotive offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to accelerate partnership growth and exceed Amazon Autos' ambitious targets for OEM collaboration
- Orchestrate collaboration between Amazon Autos and cross-functional teams to identify, structure, secure and manage high-value strategic partnerships with premier automotive OEMs
- Lead cross-functional partnership initiatives with commercial teams and product groups to enable full vehicle selection, public endorsements, and joint innovation opportunities
- Help shape product strategy and innovation by effectively translating OEM partner requirements into actionable insights for engineering and product teams
- Significantly contribute to complex deal negotiations and strategic partnership discussions with major automotive manufacturers
- Establish and nurture C-level relationships with key OEM partners while maintaining strong internal stakeholder alignment
- Foster cross-Amazon collaboration to leverage existing relationships and differentiate on a pan-Amazon basis
- Drive data-driven decision making by developing and tracking key performance metrics, market analytics, and competitive intelligence to identify partnership opportunities and optimize collaboration strategies across the automotive vertical
