Stately is looking for a Freelance UX / Product Designer with strong DTC and e-commerce experience to join their team. The role involves designing high-converting landing pages and interactive tools to enhance customer experiences and drive conversion throughout the user journey.
Responsibilities:
- Design and prototype high-converting landing pages and funnel flows that drive conversion and measurable impact
- Lead the UX strategy and execution for interactive customer experiences, including personalization tools, outfit builders, and package previews
- Create intuitive, on-brand layouts and micro-interactions
- Collaborate closely with marketing and engineering — you understand how your work connects to growth outcomes, not just aesthetics
- Use data and testing insights (GA, Clarity, A/B test results) to identify opportunities and refine UX pre- and post-launch
- Contribure to and evolve our design system, maintaining consistency and scalability across all customer touchpoints
- Own project from concept through launch, delivering experiences that are both performant (conversion-focused) and visually strong
Requirements:
- 5+ years of UX / Product Design experience at recognizable DTC or e-commerce brands operating at scale — ideally with subscription experience and a track record of shipping work that drove measurable CRO outcomes
- Strong Figma skills, including wireframing, prototyping and creating developer-ready designs with clear specifications and edge-case considerations
- Solid visual design sense — someone who makes things look great, not just function well
- Experience running or informing A/B tests and CRO programs — you've worked alongside growth and marketing teams and understand the difference between design that looks good and design that performs
- Experience designing subscription, membership, account management, or other retention focused customer experiences
- Experience designing personalized shopping, guided selling, quiz-based, or product configuration experiences
- Ability to leverage data, customer insights, session recordings, and testing results to identify opportunities and inform design decisions
- Collaborative, responsive, and detail-oriented
- Some daytime PST availability for a weekly sync and Slack collaboration
- Portfolio required — please include work from DTC or e-commerce brands, with context on your role, the problem you were solving, and results where available
- Familiarity with Shopify or Recharge
