Finance Manager

The Walt Disney Company is a global leader in entertainment and media, and they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager for their Direct-to-Consumer Finance team. This role involves financial management for Disney+ in EMEA, including financial planning, business support, and collaboration with various teams to ensure effective financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Review and consolidate EMEA local content spend for financial planning cycles (Close, Forecast & Annual Operating plan)
• Prepare US local content submissions
• Business support for UK and regional acquisition and programming teams
• Track global content slate and costs
• Partner with the programming team to appraise the localisation strategy by analysing KPIs and return on investment
• Finance representative in cross function process mapping
• Develop close relationships with the wider EMEA Finance team, with a ‘one team’ approach’ and build a network across lines of business, markets, Burbank and controllership, sharing resources and knowledge
• Adopt a flexible approach to provide ad hoc finance support to the wider D+ finance and business teams
