Senior Specialist, Systems Engineering - ACES (Remote Operations)

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineering Senior Specialist to join their Greenville, TX team. This role is responsible for the Requirements, Development Support, and Integration of Aircraft Capability Extension System (ACES) capabilities across multiple platforms and programs, as well as issue investigation and resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Considerable Systems or Software Engineering experience as a Subject Matter Expert working with Remote Operations
• Comprehensive Knowledge to write capability/product requirement specifications
• Able to work with customers, system engineers and system architects to develop requirements
• Ability to test and troubleshoot Remote Operator Interfaces in support of various platforms and programs
• Ability to communicate effectively with software developers to explain requirements and use cases when needed
• Ability to communicate within and outside the organization which includes customers or vendors
• Works with minimal supervision/oversight
• Experience working successfully independently and in a team environment through an entire build cycle

Requirements:

• Considerable Systems or Software Engineering experience as a Subject Matter Expert working with Remote Operations

• Ability to test and troubleshoot Remote Operator Interfaces in support of various platforms and programs

• Works with minimal supervision/oversight
• Experience working successfully independently and in a team environment through an entire build cycle
• DoW clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance is a must
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant engineering experience
• Graduate Degree and a minimum 4 years of prior related engineering experience
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum 10 years of prior related engineering experience
• Demonstrated understanding systems engineering life cycle
• Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence and the Agile process
• Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator Interfaces
• Security+ Certification
